in the Southwestern USA to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in business development and sales to lead our efforts in the region.

As the Director, you will oversee all business development and sales activities related to our Demand Side Management (DSM) capabilities, including energy efficiency, demand response, load flexibility, transportation electrification, electric vehicles, and solar and battery programs at utilities across Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. Secure new revenue streams with electric and gas utilities in the Southwest by driving sales and collaborating with regulatory, delivery, and shared services teams. Meet and exceed annual sales quotas. Expand energy efficiency, demand response, and other distributed energy resources services within target utilities and regions. Coordinate with delivery and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service and identify new opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales and account plans to acquire new utility clients and grow existing accounts. Represent Resource Innovations as a client advocate, ensuring customer satisfaction and brand integrity. Partner with internal teams to craft customized solutions addressing client needs. Identify market and client needs to create new solutions and offerings. Engage with all major utilities within the assigned territory annually. Improve sales, account management, and customer service processes. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and contractors. Support proposal development with market insights and strategic guidance. Contribute to product development and program innovation. Assist in project launches and facilitate smooth client transitions to implementation teams. Collaborate with regional delivery teams to identify opportunities. Provide feedback on operational and support services. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Based in the Southwestern US. Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the multi-state territory. 8+ years of experience working with and selling to electric and gas utilities. Experience selling DSM programs and/or renewable energy solutions to utilities. Understanding of state regulatory cycles related to DSM programs. Established relationships with utilities in the Southwest region. Passionate about sustainability and environmental impact. Preferred Skills and Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred. Benefits Competitive salary ($150,000 - $170,000), paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with matching, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. About Resource Innovations We are a
