What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and maintain an inventory of processes, risks, and controls to support the organization's risk management framework - Facilitate business working sessions to collect and organize inventory documentation and data - Assess risks and associated controls while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Provide leadership and guidance on best practices for risk management and control processes - Prepare and present reports on risk management activities to senior management and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and process improvement within a financial institution - Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Proven leadership and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Post Graduate Degree or Industry Qualification - Moderate to strong working knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services - Understanding of risk management concepts including Enterprise Risk Management and Third-Party Risk - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
