You will operate a tank truck according to Wilcox + Flegel Company policies and state/federal laws. Responsible to role model our Core Values.Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:Safely transports product over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.Load and unload various petroleum products, adhering to all regulations and procedures, while maintaining utmost safety standards.Accurately completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Wilcox and Flegel Company procedures.Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as necessary.Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Wilcox and Flegel Company policy.Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns.Offload product to various customer sites which may include; industrial, residential, commercial, and agricultural locations.Critical Core Competencies and Skills:Knowledge of and the ability to use loading arms and card readers at rack facilities, use auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading of vehicle and use spill kits and fire extinguisherMust be able to drive at night with limited visibilityMust be able to climb in and out of Fuel Tank Wagon, operate gear shift, and brake & gas pedalsMust be able to climb on various pieces of equipment to reach fuel tank accessLocal drivingExcellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skillMust be highly organized with strong ability to multi-taskAble to assess competing demands and determine appropriate directionProven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment; agile, flexible and resilientMinimum Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentMust have Class B CDLPreferred Education and Experience:Prefer Two years experience hauling hazardous materials.Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC preferredLicenses, Certifications and/or Registrations (note if Required or Preferred):Must have Class B CDLEquipment and Software Requirements:NAPosition Location/Working Conditions/EquipmentWarehouseCustomer LocationsExposure to chemicalsHigh noise environmentDust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elementsExposure to moving machineryOutdoorsPhysical RequirementsTypically driving company vehicleTypically bending, crouching, stoopingFrequent lifting (40 lbs.)EquipmentFuel and/or lube related equipmentVehicle
