If you're detail-oriented, self-driven, and passionate about manufacturing, we want to hear from you!Position SummaryIn this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC and conventional machines to produce complex, high-tolerance parts. You'll interpret blueprints and engineering data, contribute to lean initiatives, and work independently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.Key Responsibilities Operate and manage multiple machines efficiently, performing complex machining tasks. Set up, adjust, and run equipment to achieve precise tolerances and finishes. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve technical challenges. Contribute to process improvements and suggest tooling modifications. Perform accurate inspections using tools like micrometers, calipers, comparators, and CMMs. Maintain clean and calibrated equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability. Use statistical process control (SPC) to monitor quality and performance. Mentor less experienced team members and support training initiatives. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Qualifications 5+ years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in reading complex blueprints and using advanced measuring tools. Strong understanding of CNC setups, machining processes, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement. Advanced shop math skills, including trigonometry. Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Experience with digital systems and job-specific software applications.Physical Requirements Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
