Assist in maintaining and installing computer systems and peripherals district wide. Troubleshoot and repair computer system failures. Perform preventative maintenance of systems as required. Coordinate district technology purchases and organize technology procurement records. Special Knowledge/Skills: •Ability to analyze problems and select proper corrective action. •Exhibit good manual dexterity. •Ability to organize tasks and work independently. •Ability to diagnose problems in computer hardware, software, and Windows platform. •Ability to repair technology equipment. •Possess effective oral and written communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Major Responsibilities and Duties: Installations and Daily Duties 1. Install and upgrade computers and peripherals throughout the district (Apple, Windows 10). 2. Install network cabling and network peripherals throughout the district. 3. Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed. 4. Install and configure software as needed. 5. Ability to respond to tickets using Incident IQ in a timely manner. 6. Install Projectors and be able to provide technical support for presentations. 7. Equipment Diagnose, Repair and Maintenance (Printers, PCs, Laptops, iPads, POS). 8. Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule. 9. Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance. 10. Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service. Safety 11. Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures. 12. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying. 13. Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately. Other 14. Display tolerance necessary for accepting supervision for and criticism of job performance. 15. Work in harmony with supervisor, faculty, and peer personnel. 16. Use professional information discreetly and judiciously. 17. Represent the school system to the community in a positive and professional way. 18. Maintain a sincere, friendly attitude toward patrons and always exhibit excellent customer service. 19. Perform all other duties as assigned. 20. Regular attendance is required.
