Job Summary

Essential Functions
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and vendor inquiries professionally
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments for management
- Take detailed notes during project meetings, safety briefings, and staff discussions; distribute summaries as needed
- Assist in preparing, filing, and tracking contracts, permits, change orders, and project documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for documents and invoices
- Support procurement by helping track supply orders and delivery schedules
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and material slips
- Perform accurate data entry, especially for project timelines, budgets, and reports
- Help organize internal events, trainings, or safety meetings
- Effectively prioritize tasks amid shifting project demands and tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
- Bookkeeping, including maintaining budgets, processing invoices, and managing payroll
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in office terminology, documents, and workflows is a strong plus
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or financial administration is highly desirable
- Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities
- Must have a valid Alaska State driver's license and must remain insurable under KDC's policy
- Conducts business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, pleasant, respectful and kind when dealing with un'ina, visitors, co-workers and others
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook); experience with construction software is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication, note-taking, and organizational skill
- Excellent prioritization and coordination abilities
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
- Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential project and personnel information
