About the Role
As a CNC Machinist , you will cross train on CNC lathe (with live tooling) and 3 axis mill making tight toleranced parts in a high-mix, low-volume environment , typically producing 1 to 5 parts per job . Your experience will directly support the shop's continued growth and reputation for excellence.
Schedule
  • Standard hours: starting at 2:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Set up lathe and mill machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Read G Code
  • 1st article inspections
Qualifications
  • 3+ years setting up and operating lathes with live tooling and/or 3 axis mills (5 axis mills is a plus)
  • Ability and knowledge of G-code
  • Other duties around the shop as needed
