Our
Facilities Coordinator
is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of facility operations, contracts, and projects across all branch and corporate locations. This position leads the coordination of maintenance, security, insurance, and renovation activities, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. They are also responsible for managing budgets, vendor relationships, and property management functions, and serving as a primary liaison between staff, management, and external partners for all facility-related matters. A Day in the Life of a Facilities Coordinator
INCLUDES:
Overseeing work orders and ensuring timely completion, while keeping relevant staff informed of work progress and project updates. Managing corporate and branch contracts for HVAC, generators, security, pest control, landscaping, elevators, fire suppression, and related systems. Reviewing branch inspections and ensuring maintenance is being properly completed, identifying and recommending capital projects for budget consideration. Gathering and analyzing pricing and proposals for facility-related expenditures. Assisting in the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures. Performing other job-related duties as assigned. Facilities Coordinator Skills and qualifications include
:
3 years of experience in facilities, including contract reviewing, project coordination, budgeting or budget tracking, and vendor oversight.
Experience in project management and process improvement is necessary.
2-year college degree in facilities management, or completion of a related certification.
Additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel Other things you may want to know about this position:
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some flexibility.
Position requires on-call availability for issues occurring outside of regular business hours.
Travel
Regular independent travel is required to statewide branch locations with the occasional overnight stay.
Work Site Location
Work will be based at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 O'Neal Lane Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
