Position Overview

The Network Administrator 2 will report to the IT Network Communications Manager and be responsible for participating on projects, day to day operations and troubleshooting issues across all LANs, WANs and WLANs in supported FUJIFILM associated companies in North America.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Valhalla, NY location.

The candidate will be expected to demonstrate working technical knowledge of network systems including network design, initial setup/configuration, and ongoing network maintenance. The Network Administrator 2 will be expected to operate semi-autonomously from home so must be a motivated individual who recognizes necessary tasks and completes them at a high level of competence.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Managing vendor services, ensuring contractual and service level agreements are being met.

Configuring, designing, implementing and troubleshooting new Network Infrastructure

Manage switching and routing (ACI, EIGRP, BGP, VPC, etc)

Responding and documenting outages and circuits down through incident reporting.

Responsible for participating in network security

Provide daily hardware support & maintenance for all networking components

Monitor event logs and services to be proactive in identifying potential issues

Review network performance and make recommendations for improvement

Specifying data circuits for the Enterprise WAN

Maintain documentation of LAN/WAN and inventory of networking equipment

Complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Provide after-hours on-call support as required by departmental policies/schedules

Travel to facilities as required supporting implementation or escalated issues and assist in special project as assigned 5-10% travel

Perform other duties or projects, as assigned

Required Skills/Education

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

At least 3 years of experience in a Network Administrator role

Cisco network and security products (Nexus, Catalyst, routers, ASA/Firepower, ISE, Wireless, AnyConnect VPN, Meraki)

Cisco ACI

Authentication Technologies (TACACS+, RADIUS, MFA, etc)

DMZ Infrastructure

Cisco CCNA Certification or comparable experience (3+ years experience)

SD-WAN Technologies (HPE Aruba/SilverPeak preferred)

VMware ESXi basic knowledge

Servers/Storage - knowledge of Windows Server, storage networks, DHCP, DNS

Monitoring/Logging Platforms (Such as Solarwinds, syslog, Splunk, etc)

Network (LAN/WAN) design

Verbal and written communication skills (to management, peers, vendors, customers)

Desired Skills

Experience with other network hardware vendors (Juniper, Dell, Aruba, etc)

Salary and Benefits

Between $85,000 to $95,000 depending on experience
