Must-Have: 1. 3-D Mammography experience 2. Diagnostic Mammograms 3. Fine Needle Aspirations 4. Needle Localizations 5. Screening Mammograms 6. Stereotactic Biopsy 7. Isolation Precautions 8. Experience with Epic EMR
Description: This position is for a Mammography Technologist in a breast imaging facility. The technologist will perform a variety of mammographic procedures. A commitment to working over the holidays is essential. Two of the three main holidays must be worked (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Monday through Thursday shifts are from 07:15am to 04:30pm with a 30-minute break. Friday is a half-day shift from 07:15am to 12:15pm. Total weekly hours are 40 hours. This role may require floating to other units as requested. The candidate will support both inpatient and outpatient procedures. Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate must have experience with patient ratios and electronic charting. Travelers must comply with specific travel requirements. Modules related to job responsibilities may require completion prior to starting. The individual will be a valuable member of the imaging team and contribute to quality patient care. A comprehensive orientation may be provided for new hires.
