Developer Experience (DevX) is responsible for making sure all engineers at Coinbase build high-quality products while being productive and engaged. We do this by providing infrastructure, libraries, frameworks, and tooling to make it easier and faster to build high quality applications. Within DevX, our Onchain Pod is focused on defining the future of developer experience for onchain developers, both within Coinbase and in the broader crypto ecosystem. We believe that the onchain platform is the most important builder platform since the internet (online). As a Staff Software Engineer on this team, youll be instrumental in designing, building, and executing core solutions that drive our systems. What youll be doing (ie. job duties): Lead the new Onchain Pod and help define its charter, vision, mission, and roadmap. Work with stakeholders in Engineering and Security to identify pain points and insecure processes in the onchain development lifecycle. Architect and build new tooling to improve onchain development for Coinbase and the broader ecosystem. Augment and maintain existing tooling.
