Electronics Technician
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Electronics Technician to support a classified Department of Defense program on-site in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs, and be passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality technical solutions in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities for the Electronics Technician include: Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems and equipment. Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, and test systems for proper operation. Install raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware components. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment. Maintain tool inventory and perform regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Participate in daily safety and project meetings. Document daily work tasks using Infralink and other tools to track progress. Mentor junior team members in installation techniques and industry best practices. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers. Qualifications for the Electronics Technician include: High School Diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (min of 720 classroom hours required) 2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities across multiple systems/customer programs. Experience with LENEL, Software House, Milestone, and other IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (may require use of company vehicle) Vendor certifications in Identiv/Hirsch Velocitiy, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV/BVMS, AIphone, FFT, DIVAR. Experience with Windows OS and related certifications. Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Secret clearance. Compensation for the Electronics Technician include: Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000+ *depending on experience* Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
