We specialize in custom casework, detailed millwork packages, and one-of-a-kind wood components for offices, retail spaces, hospitality, healthcare, and other commercial environments. We’re growing and looking to add an experienced commercial estimator to our in-house team.
*Job Summary* We’re hiring a Commercial Estimator with at least 2 years of experience in architectural millwork or casework. This role is focused exclusively on commercial projects. You’ll be responsible for reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, sourcing vendor pricing, and producing accurate, competitive bids under tight deadlines.
*Duties & Responsibilities*
_Planning & Reporting_
* Analyze bid invitations, architectural drawings, and specs for commercial millwork projects * Perform material takeoffs using Bluebeam * Develop labor and material costs; solicit vendor and subcontractor pricing * Create detailed and accurate estimates with clearly defined scopes of work * Coordinate with internal teams to support job turnover and award process * Maintain organized bid tracking and cost history data
_Stakeholder Management_
* Communicate clearly with general contractors, project managers, and internal departments to ensure scope clarity and alignment * Participate in pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and clarifications as needed * Support a smooth project handoff and alignment with production goals * Represent Eden Oaks professionally in all estimating-related interactions
*You’ll Bring*
* 2–4 years of experience estimating commercial millwork or casework * Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications * Solid understanding of construction project workflows and estimating practices * Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and standard estimating tools * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication
