Position: System Administrator
Client: US Space Force
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, CO (Onsite Work)
Duration: Full-time with benefits
Clearance: Active Top Secret
Certification: Any IAT Level II
Core Responsibilities
•System Setup & Configuration
•Install and configure software, hardware, and virtual networks
•Set up user accounts and workstations
•Manage network servers and technology tools
•Maintenance & Monitoring
•Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
•Ensure systems run efficiently and securely
•Apply patches and updates to operating systems and applications
•Manage Licenses and CAs
•Support & Documentation
•Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related issues
•Create and maintain internal documentation, manuals, and IT policies
•Train staff on new technologies and system usage
•Understand STIG compliance and implementation.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Strong Knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux, VMWare, ESXI
•Strong knowledge and background in Cisco virtual machines to include (CUCM, CMS, PCD, CIMC etc.)
•Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice if you have
•Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like MCSA or CompTIA Server+ are a plus.
