Overview
As a dynamic, rapidly growing brand, we are looking for a purpose-driven and dedicated talent to join our IT team. The Data Engineer is responsible for building robust data pipelines that power real-time insights across our fast-growing brand. This role is focused on designing and developing integrations between MDM systems (Profisee), internal platforms, and third-party APIs. This position will work primarily with Python, C#, SQL Server, and SSIS, and support modern data operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
API Integration & Scripting Design, build, and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms via REST/SOAP APIs. Implement authentication, error handling, logging, and data transformation logic using Python and C#. Integrate with Profisee MDM via APIs and SDKs to support master data workflows. ETL & Data Pipeline Development
Develop robust ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server, SSIS, and custom code. Maintain and enhance existing SSIS packages integrated with Python/C# components. Ensure performance, reusability, and scalability of all pipeline solutions. Database Engineering & Optimization
Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. Design data workflows that support business processes across departments. Master Data Management (Profisee)
Support Profisee integration and data movement processes. Collaborate with governance and business teams to maintain golden records and resolve data quality issues. File & API-Based Data Ingestion
Handle structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, CSV, XML, and Parquet. Build resilient pipelines that accommodate schema changes and malformed data. Reporting Support (Power BI)
Partner with analytics teams to surface integrated data through Power BI datasets. Provide data validation and support for self-service reporting. Engineering Hygiene & Collaboration
Use Git for version control and team-based development. Follow best practices for documentation, testing, and deployment. Qualifications
Business & Communication Skills
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Effective communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical teams. Proven ability to understand business objectives and deliver data solutions that support strategic goals. Influential and confident when presenting recommendations or driving alignment across departments. Work Style & Culture
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with legacy systems while embracing modern cloud tools and architecture. Passion for clean data, continuous improvement, and a collaborative team environment. Education and Experience:
5+ years of experience in data integration or data engineering roles. Proficiency in Python and C# for building integrations and automating workflows. Strong experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, including auth and error handling. Hands-on experience with SSIS, SQL Server, and ETL/ELT design patterns. Solid knowledge of T-SQL and performance tuning techniques. Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus. Experience integrating with Profisee or other MDM platforms, preferred. Working knowledge of Power BI for report support and data modeling, preferred. Familiarity with flat/semi-structured data formats and API-based ingestion, preferred. Comfortable using Git and following modern DevOps practices, preferred. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud ETL tools, bonus. Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance practices, bonus. Familiarity with PySpark or other big data tools, bonus.
