*The role* Be the face of Black Label I.T. at client sites around Kent/South King & Pierce. Most work is on-site; some tickets are remote. Translate “my computer is acting weird” into root cause + clean fix—without making the user feel dumb.
*Priority is given to those with the following experience*
* PSA/RMM Tools (Datto, Kaseya, Ninja, Connectwise, etc...) * Have experience in the MSP/ITSP I.T. support space
*Core duties*
* *Desktop:* Windows 10/11 (macOS a plus), profiles, printers/scanners, app crashes, patching. * *Network:* DHCP/DNS, switching/VLAN basics, Wi-Fi, site-to-site & remote-access VPN triage. * *Firewalls:* rules/NAT fundamentals, basic logging, change control (Sophos/Meraki/UniFi or similar). * *Security:* managed AV/EDR agent deployment, alert triage, remediation. * *M365:* Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint, provisioning, MFA, basic Conditional Access. * *Field work:* workstation deployments, asset swaps, cable cleanup, small MACs. * *Documentation & ownership:* accurate tickets, “what changed” notes, escalate only when necessary.
*Minimum qualifications*
* 3+ years in help desk/desktop support or field tech roles (SMB environments) * Strong troubleshooting methodology (layered, evidence-driven) * Working knowledge of firewalls, managed AV/EDR, and M365 admin basics * Excellent customer service; clear, calm communication with non-technical users * *Driving is an essential function* (regular client travel): valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle
*Nice-to-haves*
* CompTIA A+/Net+, MS-900/AZ-900, or Sophos/Cisco/Meraki/UniFi exposure * RMM/PSA (Atera, NinjaOne, Datto, ConnectWise, etc.) * PowerShell for repeatable fixes
