You will be responsible for fiberglass and gel coat repairs on hulls, decks and small parts.Responsibilities:Inspection of the parts to determine what repairs are neededRepair surface defects in gel coat (scratches, voids, surface distortion, etc.) typically requiring use of grinders, buffers, drills or other specialty toolsMixing and applying gel coat and/or resins needed for repairs being sure to follow safety protocols and disposal guidelinesSpot spraying of gel coatQualifications:Previous experience with gel coat and/or paint repairs preferredExperience working with fiberglass or in auto body repair helpfulFamiliarity with mixing gel coats and/or paint with activatorsGood working knowledge of repair tools (sanders, buffers, spray equipment)Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast, paced environmentPhysical Requirements: Including, but not limited to:Climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, squatting, and bending.May require working in awkward positions or tight spaces for extended periods of timeAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentExposed to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and some outside weather conditions.May be exposed to acetone, resin, fiberglass, putties, glues, cleaners.We offer competitive pay and a great benefits package including 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision insurance, company-provided life insurance & long-term disability insurance, paid time off, a referral program and more!
