Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including: Month and end-year processes Accounts payable/receivable Cash receipts General ledger Payroll and utilities Treasury, budgeting Cash forecasting Revenue and expenditure variance analysis Capital assets reconciliations Trust account statement reconciliations Check runs Fixed asset activity Debt activity Additional responsibilities include: Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles Coordinating and completing annual audits Providing recommendations for improvements Improving systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions Assigning projects and supervising staff for compliance and accuracy Meeting financial objectives Maintaining fiscal records Qualifications: Proven experience as Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or Finance Manager Advanced skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases Ability to manipulate large data sets Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, laws, and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Leadership and supervisory skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Skills: Accounting Complex Problem Solving Management Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industry: Information Services
