Writing proposals and scope of work descriptions. Leading development of building envelope contract documents, including technical specifications. Leading detailed site inspections and evaluation reports. Peer review of enclosure details and specifications. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies: Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar. Other Requirements: 10+ years of building envelope and waterproofing experience, with at least 5 years managing projects in Illinois and surrounding states. Professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering. Strong communication and team skills. Experience in client relationship development and marketing for the team. High-level knowledge of building enclosure systems, materials, and products. Experience in new construction and technical analysis of existing buildings. Knowledge of ASTM & AAMA standards and testing procedures. Interest in business development and teamwork. Experience responding to RFQ/RFP requests. Willingness to travel.
