Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities:Read work orders to assemble components by hand or by using small hand operated equipmentTests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rulesOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred0-2+ years of assembly experienceBasic math skills- addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to work independentlyAdditional Qualification:80% of this job will be soldering, must have prior knowledge or the ability to learn skill.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
