Registered or registry eligible. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated computer skills. Technical knowledge and skills are necessary to perform procedures efficiently. Excellent communication skills necessary to deal with people from varying backgrounds, in a professional, courteous manner. Mathematical skills are required to perform various calculations. Clerical perception is necessary to detect errors, prepare records accurately, and to organize and maintain daily workflow. Verbal ability required for understanding written and verbal instructions. Physical Requirements: Work is of light demand. Routine lifting requirements of less than 50 pounds. Standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching required. Exposure to hazardous infectious biological specimens and caustic reagents. Works inside. Motor coordination and finger dexterity are necessary to operate equipment.
