Join our dynamic team as anElectro-Mechanical Maintenance Technicianand play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of our cutting-edge Material Handling Equipment (MHE).What You'll Do:As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be decommissioning old equipment in warehouse setting which is taking out old equipment hardware and putting in new equipmentPromoting asafe work environmentby adhering to all safety protocols.Performing and documentingpreventative maintenanceroutines.Leading and auditing maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.Creating and closing work orders with detailed records of labor, parts, and equipment serviced.Troubleshootingelectrical and mechanical issuesinvolving belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.Developing and deliveringtraining plansfor team members.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a positive and productive work environment.Managing and trackinginventoryfor maintenance supplies and parts.Physically capable of lifting up to 49 lbs. and working shifts up to 12 hoursWhat You Bring:Required:2-5 years of hands-onelectro-mechanical experience.Associates degree or equivalent technical training.Proficiency withhand toolsand strongcommunication skills.Preferred:3+ years working withautomated systems and controls.Experience repairingMaterial Handling Equipment (MHE).Skilled inpredictive and preventative maintenance.Ability to readblueprints and electrical schematics.Solid understanding ofelectrical and electronic principles.Familiarity withOEM safety standards.Experience withproject managementandComputerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Background inrobotic or electromechanical systems.Competence in troubleshootinginput/output functions.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
