The Senior Planner will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic goals and community needs.
*Responsibilities* * Lead the planning process for various projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. * Conduct comprehensive data analysis to inform planning decisions and recommendations. * Develop and manage contracts related to planning projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets. * Utilize ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support transportation planning initiatives. * Collaborate with economic development teams to identify opportunities for growth and sustainability. * Oversee project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. * Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation using Adobe Creative Suite to effectively communicate findings and proposals. * Facilitate public meetings and workshops to engage community members in the planning process. * Collect relevant data through surveys, research, and fieldwork to enhance project outcomes.
