Project Manager - Mechanical/HVAC
H.F. Lenz Compnyis seeking an experienced Project Manager in MEP building system design. This position will work directly with a nationally recognized team of Principals in Charge and engineering professionals. This role will lead the building system engineering of mechanical and HVAC systems, including project management functions for a diverse project and client portfolio in the educational and commercial markets. This position may be based in our Johnstown, PA headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities:
Consult with Principals in Charge on project scheduling, cost estimates, project scopes and deadlines.
Responsible for project management and coordinating MEP engineering design production to meet desired service, quality and effectiveness between engineering staff, contractors and clients.
Review and approve project documents, modifications and changes for quality and accuracy.
Collaborate with and mentor engineering staff throughout design process.
Conduct job site observations, surveys and inspections as necessary.
Travel to project sites is required; some overnight travel may be expected.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC/Mechanical building system design or facilities engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD is required; Revit software experience is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in project and personnel management is required.
MEP design experience in various commercial markets is preferred.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
License(s) and/or Certification(s):
Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration preferred.
Possession of, or ability to obtain valid driver’s license.
