DCC Construction is hiring a Lead Estimator to join our growing team! We specialize in water, fire, and mold mitigation and reconstruction. You'll play a key role in helping homeowners recover from losses while working closely with insurance adjusters to ensure fair, accurate estimates.
We're a small, close-knit company with a focus on doing good work and helping good people. If you've got experience writing estimates in Xactimate or Symbility and want to make a difference in someone's recovery — we want to hear from you.
*Position Summary*
We are seeking a qualified Lead Estimator to support our Project Management team by preparing accurate, insurance-standard estimates for mitigation and reconstruction jobs. This role is responsible for conducting on-site inspections, writing scopes using Xactimate or Symbility, and maintaining strong communication with insurance adjusters via XactAnalysis.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct property assessments for water, fire, and mold damage * Prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate or Symbility software * Upload and manage claims through XactAnalysis * Communicate with insurance adjusters to support approval and negotiation of scopes * Collaborate with internal Project Managers to develop accurate scopes of work * Participate in emergency calls as needed for timely estimating * Maintain organized digital documentation for all estimates and jobs
*Required Qualifications*
* 2+ years of experience as an Estimator in the restoration industry * Proficiency with Xactimate or Symbility * Familiarity with insurance claim processes and adjuster relations * Valid driver's license with clean driving record * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and enter job sites safely * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
