Trim Carpenter
We are seeking a versatile trim carpenter who excels in various carpentry tasks, including formwork and rough carpentry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using power tools, proficient in selective demolition, and committed to adhering to company policies and OSHA guidelines. This role involves contributing from the initial conceptual development through to project completion. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain construction equipment. Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled labor as needed. Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards. Handle loading and unloading of materials. Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding. Excavate, fill, or compact earth. Support craft workers. Participate in on-the-job training. Understand construction design, technical plans, blueprints, and models. Read plans, use mathematics for layout, and solve problems effectively. Essential Skills
Proficiency in English for effective communication and instruction comprehension. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set and achieve goals. Ability to read and interpret technical plans and blueprints. Proficiency in carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, and use of hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Capability to safely operate sharp tools and power equipment. Experience working in diverse weather conditions and terrains. Possess manual dexterity, balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Physical strength, stamina, and balance to perform various job tasks. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push or pull similar loads. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to eight hours daily while handling materials. Why Work Here?
