The Moorings of Arlington Heights Team is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to assist in providing exceptional customer service while managing sales transactions and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas. Ensure all merchandise is scanned, priced correctly, and bagged efficiently. Monitor inventory levels at the cashier station and report any low stock to the appropriate team members. Assist with restocking items and organizing displays when needed. Follow all security procedures for cash handling and loss prevention, ensuring compliance with company policies. Stay informed of promotional offers and communicate these to customers during transactions. Skills/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred. Strong math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, with experience operating point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
