Handyman Painter
Join a dynamic residential and commercial construction contractor based in the Bay Area. We specialize in new construction, renovations, additions, and ADUs. We are seeking a skilled and versatile Painter/Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to deliver high-quality finishes and tackle various maintenance tasks beyond painting. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and applying primer/sealer as needed. Mix and match paint colors and finishes based on project specifications. Apply paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools, ensuring a high-quality finish. Protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces from paint splatter and damage using drop cloths, tape, and other coverings. Inspect and refurbish existing painted surfaces; perform touch-ups and corrections as needed. Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment. Perform basic electrical tasks such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures. Handle minor carpentry repairs and installations (e.g., trim, baseboards, small framing adjustments). Perform basic HVAC maintenance, such as changing filters and addressing refrigerant leaks. Address minor plumbing issues, including fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and repairing toilets. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site. Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of waste and debris properly. Communicate effectively with clients, explaining project details, discussing color/finish options, and addressing concerns. Collaborate effectively with other team members and trades as needed. Estimate project time and material requirements. Essential Skills
Proven experience as a professional painter in both residential and commercial settings. Demonstrated proficiency in minor electrical work, carpentry, HVAC maintenance, and plumbing repairs. Familiarity with various painting techniques, tools, and materials. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Strong color vision and aesthetic sense. Manual dexterity, steady hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand, climb ladders/scaffolding, and lift/move up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications (a plus). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
