Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least one year of recent surgical experience to join an acute care operating room team, with Epic EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities Position based in an acute care operating room (OR) settingWork schedule consists of 5 shifts of 8 hours, variable between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., with call requirementsAssignment duration is 13 weeksShifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-callUtilizes EpicCare Inpatient EMR systemFunctions as a member of the surgical team, assisting with the care and preparation of surgical patientsResponsible for creating and maintaining a sterile field and anticipating the needs of the surgical teamDemonstrates knowledge of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipmentAssesses and identifies patient requirements related to age-specific needsExpected to follow department policies and procedures
