Microwave Technician on 8th Shift (Weekend Nights)
This position supports our Weekend Night Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00PM to 3:00AM. You will work 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours plus earn a 15% pay premium. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world's most advanced electronics

Working in the Manual cell, using various liquid and sheet epoxies to lay the foundation of every micro-electronics module. On the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including 56C and EPAWSS. As a Microwave Technician on 8th Shift (Weekend Nights) you will make impacts in the following ways: Fabricate and/or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions. Fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: High School Diploma and/or GED with 1 year of related work experience Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Experience with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings). Familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's. Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
