Environmental Process Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Process Engineer to provide technical and engineering support for equipment and operations within Environmental Controls, Incineration Services, and Solvent Recovery. This role is critical to ensuring that all products and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental standards. Responsibilities
Lead and support continuous operations of wastewater treatment plants, fume incinerators, commercial liquid and solid incinerators, distillation columns, and bulk storage tanks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs and critical spare parts inventories to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Design and implement process improvements focused on safety, quality, operability, efficiency, and reliability. Author and execute change controls for process modifications. Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues proactively, and provide hands-on technical support to operations teams. Lead investigations into process deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Stay current with GMP and environmental regulations, engineering standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence. Collaborate effectively with project teams, operations, support staff, and internal/external stakeholders to drive alignment and successful outcomes. Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering for chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing Experience with distillation or solvent recovery for chemicals Proficiency in continuous improvement and manufacturing processes Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in cGMP or other highly regulated environments preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Experience with DeltaV or similar automation systems is a plus Work Environment
This role is based onsite at multiple manufacturing plants and office spaces. You will work directly with the site services team, including mechanical and utilities engineers. The environment requires collaboration and direct interaction with various engineering teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
