Maintenance Technician
The maintenance technician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout the facility. You will monitor, repair, and adjust various manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulic thermoforming presses, ovens, robotic waterjets, and Siemens PLCs & HMIs. This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance role that will consist of mechanical, electrical, and controls work. You will also be responsible for plugging into a laptop and troubleshooting programs and drives. Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing-related equipment preventive maintenance. Safely troubleshoot live electrical panels. Participate in problem-solving groups and lean manufacturing activities. Contribute to the maintenance department's efforts towards achieving key measures. Continuously learn to support various processes, such as thermal forming, adhesive molding, Isocyanate foam, high-pressure water, and assembly processes. Operate powered industrial trucks, aerial lifts, and cranes. Edit and modify control programs on programmable devices, such as A-B, SLC-500, Control Logics, Panel View, and Panelview Plus. Essential Skills
3+ years working in a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. 3+ years working with and maintaining automated machinery. 1+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to use basic machining tools, powered hand tools, and other maintenance-related equipment. Ability to read machine drawings and control schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Automotive experience is a plus. Experience with robotics and robotic control (e.g., Fanuc, Motoman, ABB) is a plus. Electrical journeyman card is a plus. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems is a plus. Experience with smart cameras (e.g., Keyence, Cognex) is a plus. The facility covers nearly 300,000 square feet and collaborates with major automotive clients. Expect to work 50 hours a week, with most Saturdays and some Sundays, receiving double time for Sunday shifts. Shifts available: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) with a $2/hr premium, and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a $1.25/hr premium. Job Type & Location
