Iron Worker & Shop Fabricator
We are seeking shop and field welders familiar with both MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding for miscellaneous and structural metals. We have multiple openings for candidates ranging from entry level up to journeyman level workers. This company needs some guys for their shop, to fabricate, grind, and weld materials. They also have a road crew, traveling to prevailing wage jobs within the state of PA. We do offer per diem, but you will not be staying out of town, only traveling out of town occasionally if you are qualified and interested in their road Iron Worker crew to install the metals onto a job site. Schedule is Monday - Friday on first shift Responsibilities
Fabricate, layout, assemble, and weld according to shop drawings and specifications. Perform miscellaneous metals layout, fitting, and welding. Utilize MIG and Stick welding techniques effectively. Work in various positions such as flat, vertical, and overhead. Operate tools and equipment, including ironworker, saw, and plasma table. Work at heights, on scissor lifts, and in tight spaces. Assist with installations once projects are welded and fabricated. We are looking for a handful of welders for both the shop and road crew. Noted above, you will NOT be staying out of town if you are on the road crew, you will be home every night but they do pay for travel time, and offer per diem. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
