We are seeking dedicated Circuit Card Assemblers who are responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards. The focus is on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. The role involves following written work instructions and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including handling materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities: Produce quality work to prescribed standards with a focus on continuous improvement. Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment. Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Participate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams, etc. Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization. Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection. Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation of screws, washers, and nuts. Perform pull-tests and verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units in depth. Maintain access to production tools such as routers, parts list, work instructions, etc. Conduct basic troubleshooting and wire prep, auto bond, sleeving. Essential Skills: Proficiency in assembly, circuit board assembly, and soldering. Ability to read blueprints and wire tabulation. Experience in electronic assembly and mechanical assembly. Capability in using hand tools and conducting circuit board repair. Knowledge of quality control, crimping, and wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Overtime is an expectation and requirement once hired. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
