Production Assembler
Under minimal supervision, the Production Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts according to established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that quality, safety, and productivity standards are met to satisfy customer requirements. The assembler will collaborate with peers and provide guidance when necessary, inspect products to ensure conformance to quality and engineering standards, and read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components. Additionally, the assembler will be tasked with assembling sub-assemblies, installing accessory components and materials, wiring basic electrical connections, and modifying and assembling specialty/custom component parts. Responsibilities
Assemble fabricated parts according to established procedures. Ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. Collaborate with peers and provide guidance when necessary. Inspect products for conformance to quality and engineering standards. Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints. Select and position materials and accessory components. Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials. Wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagram. Modify and assemble specialty/custom component parts. Load, unload, lift, and move materials using lifting equipment when available. Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and production techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Competence in using hand and power tools. Capability to read a tape measure accurately. Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand for 9+ hours. Work Environment
This position is located in a manufacturing facility and follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 2 PM, with shifts lasting 9-10 hours per day. During peak periods, employees are expected to work occasional Saturdays. Why Work Here?
