Product Engineering Specialist

Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance for all engineering activities and assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with the Product Engineer, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Agile team, providing the best solution for the customer satisfaction in terms of response, delivery time and product performance. This is an on-site position based in Senatobia, MS. Relocation assistance may be provided. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: Developing technical competency amongst colleagues in specific areas of expertise. Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet medium to high complexity customer requirements. Leading case management for the resolution of technical issues. Identifying and imparting relevant training and qualification needs and competency assurance verification requirements. Qualifications for the role: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar strongly preferred. At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in an electrical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, equipment and tools A very good knowledge of MS Office, 2D / 3D CAD systems are further requirements. Knowledge and experience with ABB Smart Power product families are a plus. Ability to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.
