Immediately Hiring: EUDR, Implementation Project Manager

A global publishing and media organization is seeking a Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance, specifically aligned with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This role will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of a comprehensive compliance program, ensuring traceability and sustainability across the supply chain for paper and related products. As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee the integration of compliance platforms and systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership, supply chain insight, and regulatory expertise. Key Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a roadmap for EUDR compliance aligned with organizational sustainability goals. Define scope, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with senior leadership. Manage timelines, resources, and budgets across the full lifecycle of the program. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the central coordinator across departments including Supply Chain, Legal, IT, Finance, and Marketing. Facilitate workshops and communication forums to ensure alignment and transparency. Manage interdependencies and promote integrated problem-solving. Supply Chain Traceability Lead due diligence efforts to ensure materials are legally sourced and deforestation-free. Oversee data collection and validation, including geolocation tracking. Partner with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure compliance readiness. Systems & Process Integration Collaborate with IT to implement SaaS platforms for compliance tracking and reporting. Design operational workflows to embed compliance into daily business processes. Lead integration efforts between internal systems and external compliance platforms. Risk & Regulatory Management Identify and mitigate risks related to EUDR compliance. Monitor regulatory changes and adapt program strategies accordingly. Reporting & Documentation Establish reporting mechanisms for project status, risks, and KPIs. Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Environmental Science, Business, IT, or related field. Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) preferred. 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects. Familiarity with EUDR or similar ESG regulations is a strong advantage. Experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing within consumer goods or publishing. Knowledge of compliance platforms (e.g., Osapiens HUB, Tracex) is beneficial. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project). Preferred Qualifications

Experience in publishing or paper/packaging supply chains. Background in API development and system integration. Familiarity with ESG frameworks such as CSRD, CSDDD, or LkSG. Experience leading change management initiatives. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
