Oncology Solid Tumor located in Horsham, PA. In the current environment of US healthcare with a prominent focus placed on efficiency and affordability, ensuring patients can access innovative treatments is of foremost importance but increasingly challenging. In this environment, the Real World Value & Evidence (RWV&E) function must ensure strategic evidence generation to flawlessly execute product launches and to demonstrate robust value insights translated into timely patient, provider, and payer-centric scientific communications. In this position, the In-house Associate Director, RWV&E, is responsible for conducting RWV&E evidence generation and dissemination activities for pipeline and marketed products or indications within the Janssen Oncology Franchise. This individual will contribute to medical and market access scientific strategies and value propositions, conduct evidence generation, and work in close collaboration with the respective cross-functional teams to aligned therapeutic areas and products. The position will require the following skills and abilities: Collaborate with internal and external experts to generate rigorous scientific strategy, execute real-world evidence research projects and economic models, generate real-world data-driven insights, and contribute to scientific communication plans, as aligned with the Integrated Evidence Team (IET) to support the RWV&E strategic plans for the assigned therapeutic areas Ensure quality of design, execution, and publication of real-world evidence studies, quality of models & tools Represent RWV&E on cross-functional teams with business partners, such as, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Value and Evidence Scientific Engagement Team, Strategic Customer Group, Global Commercial Strategy Organization, Commercial Excellence, Epidemiology, Government Affairs and Policy, New Business Development and other J&J Operating Companies, as needed Develop a deep understanding of US payer needs and integrate such insights, in partnership with V&E Field and other business partners, into external communication materials Champion the approvals of new presentation materials and handling of administrative responsibilities, as needed Contribute to execution of RWV&E and market access activities such as shaping of payer communication materials to support market access scientific strategies and payer value propositions. Ensures compliance with regulatory, legal and commercial regulations (for example Contract Pricing Committee, Copy Approval Committee) in conducting research and dissemination of scientific information Qualifications / Requirements: A minimum of a Master's degree in health economics, statistics, health policy, pharmacy or related field is required. A doctorate (PharmD or PhD) is desirable. A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in health economics, market access or related functions Knowledge of US healthcare landscape from the HCP and payer perspective is preferred. Experience conducting research projects using large datasets, survey techniques, mixed models, comparative analyses and knowledge of advanced statistics and experimental design (in oncology preferred) Prior publications and strong written communication experience (solid tumor experience preferred) Experience communicating results internally and externally to technical and non-technical audiences is required Experience in working in a matrix team environment is preferred Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables on time and within budget Fluent in spoken and written English This position is located in Horsham, PA and will require ~10% for mostly domestic travel Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $137,000 - $235,750.00 Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
