Location: Grand Forks, ND Pay Range: $70,304.00 - $105,435.20 Summary: The RN occupational Health Case Manager communicates and educates patients (injured workers), their employer's, providers and third party referrers and reimbursers. The RN case manager acts as a liaison between all parties to ensure the established plan of care is understood and carried out for and by the injured worker. This position assists coordinate and ensure appropriate referrals are in place for specific occupational health services needed to carry out the plan of care. The case manager appropriately documents case management activities and reviews medical documentation pertinent to the plan of care for the injured worker. Essential Job Functions: Designs, implements and serves as a consultant on occupational health services specific to the needs of the customers. Provides occupational health services within scope of certification and validation as needed. Communicates and coordinates with Human Resource staff, third party referrers, consultants, treatment providers and employers in the case management of injured workers. Develops, implements and refines case management processes. Participates in loss prevention strategies designed to decrease costs associated with disability. Markets, promotes and conducts program evaluation on new and existing occupational health services provided by Employer Health Solutions. Performs pain assessment and takes appropriate action according to standard operating procedure. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization. Temporary RN license accepted prior to start. Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.
