We are seeking an innovative and strategic Manager of Cause Marketing, Events & Experiential to join our dynamic marketing team at Dole. This multifaceted role will drive our cause marketing campaigns and manage the planning, execution, and optimization of experiential marketing events. The position will focus on creating meaningful consumer engagement, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering long-term partnerships with nonprofits and event stakeholders to support our company's mission and business goals. This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office. (Hybrid is defined as 3 times per week in the office). Responsibilities

Cause Marketing Strategy & Execution:

Lead the development and implementation of cause marketing campaigns that align with the brand's mission and values, linking consumer purchases to impactful social causes. Identify, develop, and manage nonprofit partnerships that resonate with our target audience and elevate the company's purpose-driven initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cause marketing efforts into broader brand and consumer engagement strategies across digital, traditional, and in-store channels. Manage campaign budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to drive social impact and business growth.

Event Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute the annual events and experiential marketing strategy, collaborating with internal teams to identify key opportunities in both retail and B2B spaces. Oversee event logistics, including contract negotiations, booth design, transportation, and accommodations, ensuring events are executed seamlessly within budget. Drive creative, innovative event experiences that engage consumers and strengthen brand relationships across key markets. Act as a brand ambassador at high-profile events, building relationships with consumers, customers, and stakeholders.

Consumer & Community Engagement:

Design and implement campaigns that encourage consumer participation through donation programs, "buy one, give one" initiatives, and other calls to action, leveraging digital and social media platforms. Oversee the execution of charity drives, community outreach, and experiential activations that create emotional connections with consumers. Gather feedback and insights from event participants and cause marketing efforts to continuously improve future campaigns and event strategies.

Vendor & Partner Management:

Cultivate and manage relationships with nonprofit organizations, event organizers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure high-quality, impactful campaign execution. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to deliver seamless event experiences while staying within budgetary constraints.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Track and report on campaign and event performance, using KPIs and other metrics to measure consumer engagement, sales impact, and overall effectiveness. Provide post-event and post-campaign analysis, including financial performance, consumer insights, and lessons learned to inform future strategies.

Legal & Compliance Oversight:

Ensure that all cause marketing campaigns and events comply with relevant laws and industry regulations, including charitable giving rules and event permits.

Other duties as assigned Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cause marketing, events, or experiential marketing, ideally within the CPG industry. Proven track record of leading successful cause marketing campaigns and high-impact events. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for brand building and consumer engagement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working cross-functionally and managing relationships with external partners. Experience in budget management and performance analysis. Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 30 pounds and reach overhead. Approximately 20-25% travel required, may include weekends and overnights as needed. FOR JOBS BASED IN CALIFORNIA: Hiring Pay Scale: $95,000 to $115,000 Dole Packaged Foods is committed to paying our Associates fairly and equitably. The pay rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, accomplishments, and location. Pay scales are subject to review on a regular basis and will be updated as appropriate.
