Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician Lead to support the operations of the Pharmacy Services; prepares ancillary supply orders for shipment to patients; performs IV admixtures under supervision of the Pharmacist; maintains the clean-room and anteroom; and participates in Quality Control and Quality Improvement activities. Part-time Inpatient pharmacy technician position. Position supports the operations of the department and pharmacists. Tasks include sterile (IV) and non sterile medication preparation, processing medication orders, filling and maintaining Omnicell cabinets, answering phones/EPIC med messages and triaging for pharmacists. Inpatient pharmacy experience, including sterile IV preparation and Omnicell familiarity are strongly preferred. Responsibilities

Current applicable state Pharmacy Technician Licensure required prior to date of hire and maintained thereafter. Pay Range
