Toxicology Technical Supervisor
We are seeking a qualified
Toxicology Technical Supervisor
to oversee daily operations in our high-complexity toxicology lab, ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations. The supervisor will lead a team of lab technologists and be responsible for quality control, staff training, and method validation. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and schedule daily lab operations for toxicology testing (e.g., LC-MS/MS, immunoassays). Ensure laboratory procedures comply with all regulatory requirements. Train and mentor laboratory personnel; monitor staff competency and performance. Perform and review instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality control. Participate in validation of new methods and equipment. Assist the Laboratory Director in preparing for inspections and audits. Review and release test results as authorized. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum 4 years
of clinical laboratory experience, with at least
2 years in toxicology. Certification (preferred):
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent. Familiarity with
LC-MS/MS ,
GC-MS , and/or
ELISA
methods. Knowledge of
CLIA ,
CAP , and
state/federal
