Medical Support Instructors
RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting Medical Support Instructors in Gulfport, Mississippi in support of the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR). Roles and responsibilities include: Required Qualifications and Experience: Possess a minimum of three (3) years documented operational field medical experience serving as a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman, U.S. Army medic, or as a Special Operations Tactical Medic. At a minimum, possess current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (Basic). As part of the training process, be available to provide emergency medical treatment on-site during periods of high-risk training. Current Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certification in accordance with the latest Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) standards. TCCC certified instructors shall have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in provided military first aid or emergency room/trauma center care. CENSECFOR will accept TCCC certifications from National Assoc. of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), in addition to those recognized by BUMED. Have 2 years of experience as an instructor delivering training. Have knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques to include classroom management, Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs), and student motivation. Have knowledge of computer technology application as it applies to instructional presentation and the use of classroom training aids. Possess high personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training material. Possess the ability to perform in a military environment. Possess a familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U. S. Navy, military rank/grade structure. Possess a knowledge of Navy and military terminology. Possess above average communication skills and the ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions. Ability to maintain the personal standards of technical and professional levels of competence that are at least equal to that of the Department of the Navy military personnel undergoing training. Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (or military service equivalent), or Academic credentialing (teacher/professor), or Instructor training via an academic institution.
