Senior Product Strategy Specialist Of Medicaid Products

The Senior Product Strategy Specialist of Medicaid Products is passionate and motivated by Healthfirst's mission and wants to make a lasting impact in healthcare. This role leads special initiatives, small to mid-scale initiatives, and ad-hoc activities. This includes collaboration and coordination with internal business partners, contributors, and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. The Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting leadership with various product initiative planning and execution for initiatives included within the Healthfirst product portfolio, including collecting/organizing documentation to successful execution. Duties & Responsibilities:

Participates in product driven workgroups to provide input to product initiatives and implementation plans. Works closely with cross functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Marketing, Enrollment & Billing, Claims, Member Services, Compliance, Clinical/Network Management, and senior management in implementing new products and in new markets, product enhancements, business implementations and, end to end process improvements. Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to a project or assignment. Keeps all areas of the corporation informed through written and oral reports. Ensures communication to all areas impacted. Serves as the subject matter expert on product requirements to other business units. Must be able to perform additional duties as required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (PIVOT, Vlookup) Understand and translate highly complex concepts to a wide range of audience. Highly analytical person who can demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills and strong analytical ability required. Strong public speaking and oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate data to business insights. Ability to work cross-functionally across departments. Team player who contributes to creating a positive work environment and willing to pull their sleeves up to get things done with a bias towards action and prototyping towards a solution. Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to think strategically while managing tactical execution. Excellent organizational/project management skills Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlines Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills Able to work with people of varied management levels Knowledge of Company policy, procedures and organizational structure Experience working in a health care delivery system or a health insurance company Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, health care, and managed care Masters degree from an accredited institution We Are An Equal Opportunity Employer. Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 - $117,470 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 - $106,505 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
