Clinical Support Specialist
Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services. Essential functions include facilitating efficient and effective patient flow, performing necessary administrative duties, maintaining and cleaning the environment, and engaging in continuous study of the entire professional field to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a competency-based orientation program, and one of the following certifications within 120 days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. This position is full-time, working days from Monday to Friday and 1-2 Saturdays per year.
