Maintenance Technician
Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through cleaning and general maintenance under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various electrical systems. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction. Essential Functions
Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services Performs comprehensive electrical maintenance including the assembly, installation, maintenance and repair of conduit, junction boxes, and fixtures of lighting, power, and other electrical systems, according to specifications and electrical codes. Measures, cuts, and installs conduit, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe Performs electrical construction work including layout, demolition and construction of all types of electrical systems Ensures that all electrical services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to electrical systems Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience Must have excellent driving record LIC-Electrical Grand Rapids - STATE_MI State of Michigan LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Primary Location SITE - Butterworth Hospital - 100 Michigan St - Grand Rapids Department Name Facility Staffing - Butterworth Employment Type Full time Shift Night (United States of America) Weekly Scheduled Hours 40 Hours of Work 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Days Worked Monday to Friday Weekend Frequency Every fourth weekend CURRENT COREWELL HEALTH TEAM MEMBERS
