Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic performs routine maintenance and repair work on machinery, equipment, systems, buildings, and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of production by reducing downtime through effective troubleshooting and repair. Responsibilities
Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on all equipment according to schedule. Inspect machinery, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair to keep production running efficiently. Effectively troubleshoot all mechanical equipment, taking corrective action to repair, replace, or rebuild as necessary. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete the job. Complete work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, and material usage documentation. Perform clerical duties as necessary to maintain proper records. Essential Skills
Troubleshooting mechanical issues. Mechanical repair and maintenance. Preventive maintenance techniques. Mechanical troubleshooting. Mechanical repair. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Welding skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years (B Mechanic) or 5+ years (A Mechanic) in industrial maintenance. Experience in maintenance on industrial machinery, industrial ovens, and mobile equipment. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gear boxes, bearings, and power transmission. Preferable skills in fabrication and ability to use a mill and lathe. Welding is a plus. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Experience with machine safety, guarding, hot work, and lockout/tagout procedures. Why Work Here
