Field Technician Position
When you start with Lightspeed Restoration as a Field Technician, you will receive on the job training, opportunities for growth within the company, and begin to build your career in the restoration industry! With training, you will help provide essential services to the community that will help people stay healthy in their homes and businesses. These services include: Water Damage Mitigation Fire Damage Mitigation Mold Remediation Air duct & Dryer Vent cleaning Odor Mitigation This position is part time with the potential to become full time during our busier season, or when you become a team lead! Typical duties include: Light demolition / removal of finished building materials Project cleanup, bagging, and removing debris to jobsite collection bin or vehicle for haul off Operating water collection vacuums or pumps to extract standing water from inside structures Detailed, fine cleaning including vacuuming, brushing, and damp wiping surfaces and building contents Cleaning HVAC / air duct & exhaust systems using collection vacuums, rotary and stationary Usage of battery operated and corded power drills, hammer drills, circular saws, reciprocating saws Qualifications: No experience required!
On the job training provided Experience in home services or construction fields (Strong Plus) Must be a self starter (able to work without prompts for every step) Able to work efficiently and effectively in a Team environment Excellent Customer Service skills Exhibit a professional, neat appearance Ability to lift 75 lbs, navigate ladders and operate in confined spaces (attic, crawlspace) Valid driver's license (Required) Successfully complete a pre-employment background check We are a veteran owned, family run, growing business dedicated to providing quality service to our community.
