As a Manager Supply Execution, you will be responsible to plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. This is an opportunity based in Alameda, CA. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain. Activities may include supply planning, production planning, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution. Develop and implement schedules and procedures. Ensures timely execution and accuracy of weekly supply risk analysis reports. Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing, and storage costs; and service standards. Liaise with functional and operational area managers (e.g., in Global Demand, Country Demand and Third-Party Manufacturers) to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business. Select and manage ongoing relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to minimize costs and ensure satisfactory standards of service. Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Develops a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, cross functional/cross divisional collaboration and goal planning and execution. Monitors and analyzes supplier performance indicators in order to proactively identify potential supply problems. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met. Execute both Supply and Deployment functions on daily basis for ADC product platforms. Act as team lead in the absence of the Senior Manager. Represent the team in heatmap meetings and prepare presentations for leadership. Review and establish new standard operating procedures. Provide operational support and cover for team members as needed. Develop and automate new KPIs, SAP IBP templates for short-term planning. Offer flexibility to support the team on weekends. Willingness to travel for business purposes. Support UATs. Be part of Core Team with NPI/EOL group. Master data focal management point for supply planning team. Experience You'll Bring Required: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain related body of knowledge or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Supply Chain experience with pattern of progressing responsibilities. 2 years leading Supply Chain teams. 4 years of experience in the Medical Device industry. 6 years of experience working with Supply Chain software. Experience with global supply chain teams including policy and procedure development, strategy formulation, regulatory compliance, quality systems and product life cycle planning. Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results. Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable. Ability to travel approximately 25%, including internationally. Flexible working hours, supporting weekend tasks when needed.
