Job Description
The Villa Engineer will ensure that the hotel property is properly cared for and well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. Responsible for responding to guest calls. The engineer will fix minor issues and repairs, as well as, respond to guest calls for maintenance in an efficient and courteous manner. Will ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical on the overnight shift. Perform fire safety leader functions including evacuations & interactions with Fire department. Assists in security related matters. Responsibilities
Maintain all public areas and guestrooms on an on-going basis (corner guards, locks, windows, doors, and furniture.) Keep the hotel decor in good condition. Clean all work areas after completing job. Fill out daily work form. Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools. Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels rules and regulations. Qualifications
Previous experience is desirable in hotel setting. High school or equivalent education required. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
